The Astros look to win a second straight game when they host the division rival Athletics on Monday night
The Houston Astros host the Oakland Athletics on Monday night in the first game of a four-game series. The Astros come into the series playing well as they have won three of their last four games and it has improved their record to 15-25 on the season. It has not been the best start to the season for the Astros, but they are hoping they are starting to turn things around. Monday they will send Spencer Arrighetti to the mound. Arrighetti is still searching for his first win as he is 0-4 with an 8.44 ERA on the season.

The Athletics will counter with Ross Stripling as they look to avoid a second straight loss. Stripling has not been good this year as he comes into Monday just 1-6 with a 5.14 ERA.
His last start did not go well as he went just one and two-thirds innings and gave up 11 runs on 10 hits. The A’s had won his previous two starts, but they lost 15-8 to the Texas Rangers in that game.
The A’s have played better than most people expected thus far and they come into Monday 19-23 on the season. They had gotten to .500 a little over a week ago, but have lost six of their last eight games.
