The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship features a main event of Jimmie Rivera and Daniel Straus today.

BKFC 61 heads to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with a seven-match main card highlighted by a lightweight main event between Jimmie Rivera (1-1-1) and Daniel Straus (0-1-0). Those two headline what has the potential to be one of the best bare-knuckle cards of the year. Rivera and Straus are both coming off of losses in their last bouts to Jeremy Stephens and Dan Nguyen respectively. They look to bounce back today against each other in the main event of BKFC 61 and move closer to contending in the lightweight division in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

In the co-main event another pair of lightweights face off in Mike Trizano who is making his BKFC debut taking on Louie Lopez (3-3-0) who has lost back-to-back bouts heading into today. Both losses came in the last year falling to Kai Stewart and Bryan Duran after a 3-1-0 start to his career.

The rest of the card is showcase for six heavyweights with Zach Calmus (3-2-0) vs. Connor McKenna (0-1-0) and Pat Brady (0-0-0) vs. Lewis Rumsey (1-3-0) on the main card and Chris Sarro (2-4-0) vs. Scott Roberts (0-0-0) on the preliminary card. 

Also on the main card is a bantamweight bout with Ryan Reber (5-0-0) vs. Anthony Foye (1-1-0), Sarah Click (0-3-0) vs. Natalie Gage (0-0-0) in women’s strawweight and Rick Hawn (0-0-0) vs. Scott Lampert (0-1-0) in welterweight on the main card. There are two additional preliminary bouts with Pat Casey (0-1-0) and Sam Watford (0-0-0) in middleweight and a featherweight bout between Dylan Felion (0-0-0) and Daniel Pettit (0-1-0).
