The Blackhawks look to avoid a second straight loss when they visit the Flyers on Saturday night
The Chicago Blackhawks continue their three-game road trip on Saturday night when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers. The Blackhawks come into Saturday fresh off a 2-0 loss to the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak and kept them from winning a third straight game for the first time this season. The Blackhawks have been playing better as they have won six of their last 11 games. Despite the improved play they still sit at just 21-47-5 on the season and in last place in the Central Division. They don’t have the worst record in the league, though, as they have seven more points than the San Jose Sharks.

The Flyers are on the other end of the standings as they continue to fight for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
They currently sit in third place in the Metropolitan Division, but are just one point up on the Washington Capitals.
The Capitals are sitting in the last wild-card spot, so the Flyers don’t have a lot of wiggle room. They have to get a win on Saturday night against the last-place Blackhawks.
