The Atlanta Braves head to Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago on Monday afternoon to open a 3-game series with the Chicago White Sox

The Atlanta Braves (2-1) couldn’t finish a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. On Monday, the Braves open a three-game series at Guaranteed Rate Field against the Chicago White Sox (0-3), who dropped three consecutive one-run games while being swept by the Detroit Tigers over the weekend. Atlanta lost All-Star catcher Sean Murphy to the 10-day injured list when he strained an oblique on opening day. White Sox DH Eloy Jiménez was pulled on Sunday with soreness in his left adductor. The Braves won the last six National League East titles, as well as a World Series in 2022, while Chicago comes off a 61-101 mark in 2023.
