The Brewers head to Chicago on Friday to take on the rival Cubs for the first time this season
The Milwaukee Brewers begin a six-game road trip on Friday afternoon when they take on the Chicago Cubs. It will be the first meeting between the division rivals as they both look to take early control of the NL Central. The Brewers come to town on a two-game winning streak after dropping three in a row. They lost two of three to the New York Yankees but bounced back to take two of three from the Tampa Bay Rays earlier this week. Friday they will send Joe Ross to the mound as they try and extend their winning streak. Ross has struggled so far this season and comes into Friday just 1-3 with a 5.40 ERA. The Brewers have lost his last three starts and are just 1-4 with him on the mound.

The Cubs will counter with Hayden Wesneski in the opener. Wesneski will be making just his second start of the season. He went four innings of one-run ball against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday in his first start.
The Cubs will be returning home after playing their last seven games on the road against the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets.
