Link Academy and Paul IV play in the first semifinal of the boys high school basketball Chipotle Nationals today.
The first semifinal of the 2024 Chipotle Nationals features the top-ranked team in the country, Link Academy from Missouri, challenged by Paul IV from Virginia. Both teams are coming off strong wins in the quarterfinals and look to continue that momentum on to a run to the championship game. The Panthers went off on the offensive end scoring the most points of any team so far at the Chipotle Nationals defeating seventh-seeded IMG Academy 101-89. The Lions took care of business 80-76 against third-seeded Prolific Prep led by Tre Johnson, Labaron Philon and one of the best rosters in high school basketball this season.

The winner of this game will move on to face off with the winner of the second semifinal between the Florida Schools, top-ranked Montverde Academy and fifth-seeded Columbus, who play after this game.
Pat Ngongba leads the Panthers as the 18th-ranked recruit in the country. He is joined by Darren Harris, the 37th-ranked recruit and Isaiah Abraham who is ranked 85th in the Class of 2024. Ngongba and Harris are both headed to Duke while Abraham will play for UConn next season in college basketball.
All eyes will be on Johnson in this game again as the highest-ranked recruit in this game and the second-highest left in the tournament at fifth overall. He is headed to Texas while Philon, the 30th-ranked recruit will play for Kansas next season. This game is loaded with high-level talent and two of the top programs in boys high school basketball today.
