The Cubs look to bounce back from an opening-day loss when they visit the Rangers on Saturday
The Chicago Cubs battle the Texas Rangers in game two of their three-game set. The Cubs blew a 3-2 ninth-inning lead in the first game and fell to the defending World Series champions 4-3 in 10 innings. The Cubs not only lost the game but also lost their ace Justin Steele who went down with a hamstring injury in the fifth inning. Steele is scheduled to have an MRI and a timetable for his return has not been set. The Cubs will look to get past all of that when they send veteran Kyle Hendricks to the mound on Saturday Hendricks was solid last year, but went just 6-8 with a 3.74 ERA.

The Rangers will go with Cody Bradford as they try and win a second straight game and clinch the series. Bradford has made just eight career stars and is 4-3 with a 5.30 ERA.
The Rangers managed just eight hits in the first game of the season, but two of those were home runs. Adolis Garcia went yard in the sixth inning to tie the game and then Travis Jankowski hit a lead-off home run in the ninth to tie the game again.
That set up the game-winner from Jonah Heim as he singled up the middle to drive in Josh Jung in the 10th inning.
