Drexel looks to remain in the hunt for a playoff spot in the CAA Championships against Monmouth on Friday.

With one game remaining before the CAA Championships begin for these two conference foes, Monmouth welcomes rival Drexel to West Long Branch for a Friday afternoon showdown. After falling to No. 18 Delaware last week, Drexel is now 5-8 overall with a 2-4 mark in conference play this season. The Dragons are still alive for the fourth playoff spot in the CAA. However, Drexel needs a win on the road against Monmouth and a Hofstra win over Stony Brook to make the tournament. Monmouth, on the other hand, has lost two straight games to drop to 5-7 on the season with a 2-4 mark in conference play and a 4-2 record at home. Last season, Drexel cruised to a 16-7 win over Monmouth.
