On Friday, the Blue Devils head to No. 19 Clemson (28-11) for the opener of a three-game series with the Tigers, who have won four straight overall and have four consecutive ACC wins to get to 11-4. Duke made its first three NCAA tournament appearances in the last three seasons, reaching the super regionals each of the last two years after debuting the program for the 2018 season. Clemson is also a relative newcomer on the college softball scene, opening play in 2020, going to three straight NCAA tournaments and two consecutive super regionals.
