The visitors head into the meeting as the fifth-placed club in the Spanish top-flight standings with 58 points in 33 matches so far this season, courtesy of an overall record of 16 wins, 10 draws and seven losses. The club will be looking to snap a four-match winless streak in league play, which dates back to its 2-0 victory over Deportivo Alavés on March 16 at San Mamés Stadium. Gorka Guruzeta found the back of the net twice to secure all three points for Athletic Bilbao at home.
