San Francisco will start the game with Jordan Hicks on the mound tonight. The right-hander is undefeated this season at 2-0 with a 1.59 ERA with 27 strikeouts over 34.0 innings. His last outing ended in a 4-3 loss at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 10th inning. He pitched 6.0 innings allowing one earned run on nine strikeouts.
Aaron Nola will start the game on the mound for the hometown of Philadelphia in the top of the first inning. The right-hander is 4-1 this year with a 3.20 ERA and 36 strikeouts over 39.1 innings. He pitched 8.0 innings allowing three earned runs on seven hits with 10 strikeouts and one walk against the San Diego Padres.
