The New York Knicks (44-28) are starting to build momentum again down the stretch winning three games in a row and seven of the last eight overall. Jalen Brunson and New York travel to face off against rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs (17-56) to make it four wins in a row. New York has exploded on the offensive end scoring 269 total points over the last two games while holding opponents to just 200 total points. A major part of the offensive surge has come from Donte DiVincenzo, who has made 20 threes over the last three games averaging 29.0 points per game. With DiVincenzo playing this well alongside Brunson, New York is back up to third in the Eastern Conference.

DiVincenzo is having a career season averaging 14.9 points per game on 40% shooting from three. He has opened up the team’s offense despite Julius Randle missing the last two months and OG Anunoby missing time with injuries after being acquired via trade.

For San Antonio, the team has won two straight games with another win against the Phoenix Suns without Wembanyama and a thrilling comeback win over the Utah Jazz. Despite sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference standings San Antonio is playing well against playoff-caliber teams. They have four wins since the start of March and four losses by single digits.

The play of Wembanyama has been great all season averaging 20.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 3.5 blocks and 1.2 steals per game. He has gotten better throughout the season and will look to steal another game against a playoff team today.
