Minnesota is coming off a series loss to the Tigers that dropped them to 7-13 on the season. The Twins are just 2-6 at home and 3-7 in their last 10 games. Chicago, on the other hand, suffered a three-game sweep against Philadelphia to drop to 3-18 on the young season. The White Sox have the worst record in the Majors with losses in nine of their last 10 games. This is the first series between the two AL Central foes this season.

Most recently, the Twins fell in the series finale against the Tigers in a 6-1 loss on Sunday. Austin Martin’s solo shot in the bottom of the ninth inning was the lone run in the game for Minnesota, who dropped two out of three games against Detroit.
As for Chicago, the Phillies completed a three-game sweep with a 8-2 victory over the White Sox on Sunday. Chicago jumped out to an early 2-0 lead thanks to a two-run home run by Eloy Jimenez, but Philadelphia answered right back with a three-run first inning of their own.
