On three-game winning streak, the Penguins look to keep playoff hopes alive as they host the Lightning
Winners of 10 of their last 12 games and having already locked up a playoff spot, the Tampa Bay Lightning skate into the Steel City today to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins who are in a seven-team race for the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. The Penguins trail Philadelphia by two points for the final playoff spot with six games remaining on their schedule, all of which are against teams that are already locked into the postseason or are still mathematically alive. Pittsburgh has dominated this series of late winning five of the last six meetings including each of the last two played inside PPG Paints Arena.
