No. 11 North Carolina clinched the ACC’s Coastal Division title on Saturday, looks to finish a sweep of visiting Louisville on Sunday

With its victory on Saturday, No. 11 North Carolina (38-11) ran its winning streak to five games and clinched the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Coastal Division title. On Sunday, the Tar Heels — 19-7 in ACC play — attempt to finish off a three-game sweep of visiting Louisville (29-21) at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill. North Carolina will extend its streak of NCAA tournament appearances to seven this season and last played in the College World Series in 2018. The Cardinals, 13-13 in the ACC, good for fifth in the Atlantic Division, likely need a win in the ACC tournament in two weeks to return to the NCAA tourney after missing a season ago.
