LSU and Florida will wrap up their SEC series on Monday night in Gainesville.
On Monday night, No. 10 Florida will host No. 7 LSU for the final game of their SEC series at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium. The Gators come into the series finale with an overall record of 33-6 and a conference record of 8-3 which puts them in second place in the SEC standings. Today’s game will be a tie-breaker between the two teams as Florida won 4-2 to open the series and LSU took game two in a close 4-3 game. Korbe Otis finished the game going 3-for-4 at the plate with one RBI to lead the Gators’ offense. Keagan Rothrock moved to 17-4 on the season after being credited with the loss in the circle. She pitched two innings and gave up two earned runs while striking out two batters in her time pitching.

The Tigers are currently in fourth place in the SEC standings with an overall record of 31-5 and a record of 9-5 against conference opponents. Sydney Berzon earned the extra-inning win yesterday against Florida to improve to 14-2 on the season with 3.2 innings of work in which she struck out seven batters. Maci Bergeron hit a double in the second to open the scoring before Raeleen Gutierrez stepped up to the plate in the third and hit her own RBI double. Gutierrez struck again in the seventh with another RBI double before Maddox McKee stepped up to the plate and hit a SAC fly to score McKenzie Redoutey which was the game-winning run.
