The Athletics go for their sixth straight win on Saturday afternoon when they take on the Marlins
The Oakland Athletics look to stay hot on Saturday when they take on the Miami Marlins in the second game of their three-game series. The Athletics took the opener 3-1 on Friday for their fifth straight win and seventh in the last eight. They have moved to within a game of .500 on the season at 16-17 and can even their record for the first time this season. They will send Paul Blackburn to the mound as they try and get that win. Blackburn has been great this season for the A’s and comes into the game 2-1 with a 3.34 ERA. The A’s have won five of his six starts this season.
