Second-seeded Marquette takes on Colorado on Sunday afternoon in the second round of the NCAA Tournament
Marquette battles Colorado on Sunday afternoon with a berth in the Sweet 16 on the line. The Golden Eagles shook off a sluggish first half against Western Kentucky to win their first-round game. They trailed by seven points at halftime to the Hilltoppers but came out firing in the second half to win 87-69. Kam Jones was great in the first-round game as he scored a game-high 28 points and hit five three-pointers. The win was their fourth in the last five games and got them one step closer to their ultimate goal of making the Final Four.

The Buffaloes, though, are looking to pull off the upset and send the Golden Eagles home in the second round.
The Buffaloes almost didn’t make it to the second round as they gave up 100 points to Florida in the first round, but fortunately, they scored 102 points to get the two-point win.
The 102 points were the most in the history of the Buffaloes program and they will be looking to keep their offense rolling on Sunday in the second round.
The Buffaloes have been led by KJ Simpson as he is scoring a team-best 19.7 points per game. He was great in the first round as he scored 23 points in the win.
