Missouri will look to break a two game losing streak with a win over Mississippi State on Saturday night.
A top 25 matchup will take place on Saturday night as No. 14 Missouri hosts No. 18 Mississippi State in the first game of the teams’ SEC series. The Tigers are currently in eighth place in the SEC standings with a conference record of 8-10 and an overall record of 35-13. The team has dropped two games in a row with the most recent being a 4-2 defeat against No. 9 Georgia a week ago. Kara Daly and Abby Hay both homered against the Bulldogs, but it wasn’t enough to get the job done since they were both solo shots. Marissa McCann took the loss in the circle with two innings of work in which she gave up three hits and two earned runs.
