Josiah Gray and the Washington Nationals will take the mound against Kyle Harrison and the San Francisco Giants tonight.

The Washington Nationals will stay on the road for the second game of a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park in sunny California, tonight. Despite being just 3-6 on the season heading into the game on the road, the Nationals took the series lead with an 8-1 win last night in the Bay. The Giants took the early lead in the first inning with a fielding error on a Lamonte Wade Jr. hit. After that, it was all Nationals. Trey Lipscomb tied the game with an RBI in the second inning followed by Luis Garcia Jr. RBI to take the lead. Lipscomb stole home again in the second inning as well. Lane Thomas homered in the fifth inning followed by an RBI double from Ildemaro Vargas. It was 6-1 heading into the ninth inning where Thomas and Vargas added two more RBIs to win 8-1. San Francisco will look to bounce back tonight.

Washington will give the start in this middle game of the series to Josiah Gray. The right-hander has pitched two games this season already and lost both games. He went 4.0 and 4.1 innings in those two starts giving up six and seven earned runs with just a total of nine strikeouts. He needs a redemption start tonight.

Kyle Harrison will get the nod for the orange and black tonight. The left-hander is 1-1 through his two starts this season. He had a great first game going 6.0 innings giving up two earned runs and five strikeouts. He took a step back in his last start going just 5.0 innings giving up four earned runs and striking out four batters.
