How to Watch Nets at 76ers: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey lead the Philadelphia 76ers host the Brooklyn Nets today.

The Philadelphia 76ers (46-35) are the hottest team in the Eastern Conference heading into the final game of the regular season. Joel Embiid’s return has given Philadelphia the opportunity to get back into the playoffs after slipping down to the Play-In Tournament. With a win today over the Brooklyn Nets (32-49) and losses from either the Orlando Magic or Indiana Pacers, it would move Philadelphia up to the sixth seed and as high as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. With Embiid back in the lineup Philadelphia has won seven straight games and is looking like one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference heading into the playoffs.

In his five games back Embiid is averaging 30.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game on 49-48-88 shooting splits. He is nearly averaging more points than minutes again in his 30.5 minutes per game since returning from injury.

Now that Embiid is back in the lineup, first-year All-Star Tyrese Maxey has more space to create with three games of 28-plus points including a 52-point explosion. Overall for the season, Maxey is having a career-season averaging 25.9 points and 6.2 assists per game giving Embiid the best second option since coming into the NBA.

For Brooklyn, it has put pressure on playoff teams down the stretch with wins over the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers while putting pressure on the New York Knicks in a four-point loss. A win for Brooklyn today would allow it to put its stamp on the regular season shaping the playoffs.
