The No. 24 ranked team in the nation, Oregon, will stay on the road for the third and final game of this three-game series against Pac-12 Conference rival Washington in Seattle on Sunday afternoon. The Ducks came into this series on Friday with a 32-15 record overall and a 14-10 record against those teams in the same conference as them. Last weekend, they won a three-game series against Utah, two games to one winning 7-5 in the first and 5-1 in the second before losing last Sunday 9-7. Grayson Grinsell and RJ Gordon have been the best pitchers on the team this season. Grinsell is 6-2 this year with a 3.68 ERA in 10 starts and 13 appearances. He has a team-high 72 strikeouts with 24 earned runs on 39 hits in 58.2 innings. Gordon is 6-4 in his 2024 campaign with a 4.61 ERA in 12 starts. He has 66 strikeouts this year with 32 walks. He has given up 34 earned runs on 57 hits in 66.1 total innings pitched.

The Huskies are 18-23-1 heading into the series this weekend that ends today. They were also 9-15 against Pac-12 teams leading up to Friday. They went on a three-game winning streak before snapping it against Arizona State and have lost three of four games since then including earlier this week to Grand Canyon 6-2.
Grant Cunningham and Calvin Kirchoff have been the best pitchers on the mound for Washington. Cunningham is 3-3 this season with a 2.61 ERA in 15 appearances. He has 47 strikeouts and 13 walks while giving up 12 earned runs on 33 hits over 41.1 total innings pitched. Kirchoff has given up 39 earned runs with 38 strikeouts over 54.2 innings.
