The finals of the Contenders Bracket will send a second team to the title match of the 2024 Pac-12 Championship today.
The final day of play in the 2024 Pac-12 Championship of beach volleyball is down to two matches that will crown the eighth champion of the sport. There are four teams remaining with top-seeded USC facing off with second-seeded UCLA in the Winners Bracket to lock in the first team for the championship match. The team that falls short will play here against the winner of the Contenders Bracket semifinal between third-seeded Stanford and sixth-seeded Arizona State, who are also the hosts of the tournament this season. Last season the Bruins used the Contenders Bracket to make it to the championship and win the program’s third Pac-12 Championship in beach volleyball.

The winner of this match will be in the same position as the Bruins were last season as the winner of the Contenders Bracket. One of the Bruins, Trojans, Cardinal or Sun Devils will be that team this season.
There is history on the line for all four teams today. The Trojans have won four championships in the seven-year history of this tournament. Right behind them are the defending champion Bruins who can tie the Trojans for the most Pac-12 Championships in beach volleyball if they go back-to-back this season.
For the Cardinal and Sun Devils a win this season for either of them would make them just the third team to win the Pac-12 Championship of beach volleyball and earn their first win in this tournament. This year’s final day of play could be one of the best ever on the beach in this tournament’s history.
