The Detroit Pistons look to end a five-game losing streak but it will be tough when they host the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday afternoon.
The New Orleans Pelicans have won four of their last five and they try to close the gap for fourth place in the Western Conference when they travel to take on the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. The Pelicans haven’t been quite able to catch up to the Los Angeles Clippers in the fourth seed but they are still only 1.5 games behind as New Orleans has been playing very well lately. They should be able to capitalize against a Detroit team that has lost five games in a row. The Pelicans are huge favorites today with the line set at -12.5 even though they are playing on the road.

The last time these two played a month ago in February, four players were ejected after a foul on Zion Williamson incited a fight. New Orleans got the last laugh to split the season series with Miami.
Detroit was on the wrong end of a blowout in its last game dropping to the Boston Celtics 129-102 on Friday. It was a matchup between the teams with the best and worst records in the league.
