Wyatt Worthington II holds the lead as the PGA Professional Championship heads into the second round on Monday.
The PGA Professional Championship hosted by Fields Ranch at PGA Frisco in Texas will be alive again for round two here today. The field of 312 golfers will survive two cuts with a chance at a spot on the Corbridge Financial PGA Team. Those who make the team will gain immediate access to the PGA Championship as well and the winner will receive exemptions into six PGA Tour events in the next year. After one round, Wyatt Worthington II from Reynoldsburg, Ohio is in the lead after shooting a 65 in the first round. He holds the top spot on the leaderboard to himself by Devin Gee from Oakmont, Pennsylvania, and Hayes Farley from Ponte Vedra, Florida, follow him tied at No. 2. The two of them both shot 68 on the first round through the 18 hole-course. Gee held the lead for much of the first round until Worthington came shooting up later in the day to finish in the lead.

The top five is rounded out by three golfers tied at No. 4 on the leaderboard. Kyle Mendoza from Oceanside, California; John Somers from Clearwater, Florida; and Ben Willman from The Woodlands, Texas, are all tied just one stroke behind the No. 2 golfers and four strokes behind the leading golfer heading into this round.
Jamie Broce, Matt Schalk, and Ben Willman teed off first this morning at 7:00 a.m. ET on the FRE course at hole one. Simultaneously starting the round, Bob Sowards, Kyle Ramey, and Stephanie Connelly-Eiswerth were on hole ten on the same course. Steven Delmar, Jake Reeves, and Jaysen Hansen teed off at 7:00 a.m. ET as well on the FRW course at hole nine.
