Zack Wheeler and the Philadelphia Phillies will take the mound against Sonny Gray and the St. Louis Cardinals tonight.

The Philadelphia Phillies will stay on the road for the second game of this three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium in Missouri. The Phillies lead the series after the first game with a 5-3 win in extra innings last night. It was a 0-0 game until the fifth inning when Johan Rojas hit an RBI single to score Garrett Stubbs for the first run of the game. Tre Turner then scored Rojas to go up 2-0. Ivan Herrera homered in the seventh to bring it within a run. Brandon Marsh homered in the top of the ninth to give some insurance that wasn’t enough as St. Louis’s Jordan Walker and Masyn Winn hit RBIs to tie the game and send it into extra innings. Alec Bohm doubled in the top of the 10th to score Christian Pache followed by Stott scoring Harper who was walked to win the game 5-3.
