The Pittsburgh Pirates will head on the road to begin this week in baseball taking on the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field in Wisconsin for the first game of a three-game series on Monday night. This will be the fifth game this season between these two teams with the season series being tied two games to two after a four-game series earlier this season. The Pirates are 18-23 overall this season standing as the No. 3 team in the National League Central. They are six games back from the Chicago Cubs and 6.5 games back from the divisional leader. They lost two of three games against the Cubs in their last series including a 5-4 loss in the 10th inning yesterday. The Brewers, divisional foes, are 24-16 overall this season and are the aforementioned divisional leader in the NL Central. They took on the St. Louis Cardinals in their last series winning three games to one losing just the last game yesterday.

Mitch Keller will get the start on the mound for Pittsburgh in the first game tonight. He is 3-3 this season with a 4.42 ERA and 44 strikeouts over 49.0 innings pitched. He pitched a complete game in his last outing allowing one earned run on five hits with five strikeouts in a 5-1 win against the Los Angeles Angels.

Milwaukee will head out onto the field in the top of the first inning with Colin Rea on the mound. The right-hander is undefeated with a 3-0 record and a 3.29 ERA. He has 25 strikeouts over 38.1 innings. He pitched 4.2 innings in his last start allowing four runs on seven hits with two strikeouts in a 6-5 win against the Kansas City Royals.
