Pitt looks to clinch a series win on Saturday when it visits Notre Dame. The Panthers came to town on Friday and took the opener 3-1. They scored the first three runs of the game and held the Fighting Irish scoreless until the eighth in the win. The victory helped them avoid a second straight loss and was their third win in the last four games. The Panthers now sit at 19-23 overall and 6-16 in the ACC. They have struggled in conference play this season and have yet to win a series in the ACC. Saturday they will look to finally get their first with another win.
