Collins has been on a run as of late winning the Miami Open last week before heading north for her second straight tournament. Overall she has won nine straight matches and goes for her 10th straight win today.

During this run Collins has only dropped one set out of the 19 she has played. That came in the last round here at the Charleston Open against second-seeded Ons Jabeur, who she upset 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 to advance to the quarterfinals. Another win will send Collins to her second straight semifinal with the opportunity to win her fourth career title on the WTA Tour.

The winner of Collins’ quarterfinal will move on to play the winner of third-seeded Maria Sakkari who faces off with ninth-seeded Veronika Kudermetova in the fourth and final quarterfinal to close out a great day of action at the 2024 Charleston Open.
