The Masters champion Scottie Scheffler holds the lead entering the final round of the RBC Heritage today.
Scottie Scheffler is playing some of the best golf of his career coming off his second green jacket at The Masters and in a position to win back-to-back tournaments today. He enters the final round of the RBC Heritage with a one stroke lead over the field at -16 overall after his best round of the week. Scheffler shot an eight under 63 in the third round to take the lead heading into the final round today. Just behind him on the leaderboard is Sepp Straka (-15), Collin Morikawa (-14) and three others tied at -13 overall just three strokes off the lead with one round to play.

In that third round Scheffler finished with eight birdies and a clean scorecard cleaning up on the front nine holes with five. Overall this week Scheffler has 10 birdies and one double-bogey on the front nine holes with eight birdies and zero bogeys on the back nine.
This season Scheffler has been a force with three wins and four more top six finishes. In the nine tournaments he has played in before the RBC Heritage this season Scheffler has finished top 17 or better in all of them to take a commanding lead in the FedEx Cup Standings.
Earning his second win in a row and fourth in five tournaments will not be easy for Scheffler with Straka, Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Patrick Rodgers and Ludvig Aberg all shooting at least three under par in every round of the tournament heading into the final round of play today.
