How to Watch Reds at Mariners: Stream MLB Live, TV Channel

Frankie Montas and the Cincinnati Reds will take the mound against George Kirby and the Seattle Mariners tonight.

The Cincinnati Reds will head on the road to begin this week in the first game of a three-game series against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park in Washington. This will be the first game between these two teams this season. The Reds come into this series with a 9-6 record overall having swept the Chicago White Sox in their last series by a combined score of 27-5. That was much needed after losing two of three games against the divisional-rival Milwaukee Brewers the series before. The young core of Spencer Steer and Elly De La Cruz leads this team. Steer has three home runs and 18 RBIs this season batting a team-best .346. The Mariners enter this series with just a 6-10 record through 16 games. They ended up losing two of three games against the Chicago Cubs at home in their last series with the deciding game ending 3-2. Former San Francisco Giant, Mitch Haniger, leads the offense with two home runs and eight RBIs this season.

Cincinnati will start the game and the series with Frankie Montas on the mound, the former New York Yankee. The right-hander has started three games this season and picked up his first loss in his last outing going 5.0 innings against the Milwaukee Brewers. He allowed three earned runs on six hits with four strikeouts on 96 pitches.

Seattle will look to starting pitcher George Kirby to start this game. The right-hander is 1-2 this season winning his first start and picking up two back-to-back losses. He went just 7.2 innings in those two losses allowing 13 total earned runs and 18 hits with just five strikeouts. He will need to turn that around tonight.
