Maryland goes for its sixth straight win on Sunday afternoon when it hosts Big Ten foe Rutgers
Maryland welcomes Rutgers to town on Sunday afternoon for a Big Ten women’s lacrosse battle. The Terrapins come into Sunday on a five-match winning streak and 1-0 in the Big Ten. They knocked off Ohio State in their Big Ten opener last Saturday. They jumped out to an early 4-0 lead after one, but would lead by just one after three periods. They would dominate the fourth quarter in outscoring the Buckeyes 6-1. The Terrapins will look to do much of the same against Rutgers on Sunday afternoon. The Terrapins are now 8-1 on the season, with their only loss coming in overtime to Florida back on February 24th.

The Scarlet Knights come into Sunday on a three-match losing streak and 0-2 in the Big Ten.
They lost to Penn State in overtime in their Big Ten opener and then they fell to Michigan 13-10 last Thursday.
They lost for a third straight time on Sunday when they lost to Yale 14-8 last weekend. The Scarlet Knights have now lost four of their last five after starting the year with four straight wins.
It has been a tough stretch for the Scarlet Knights and it doesn’t get any easier on Sunday against a very good Terrapins team.
