UNLV goes for its fourth straight win on Saturday when it takes on San Diego State in Mountain West action
UNLV wraps up its regular season on Saturday looking to pick up a sweep over San Diego State. The Rebels took the opener on Thursday 5-1 and then held off an Aztec rally on Friday to get a 4-3 victory. The Rebels scored two in the first and two more in the third to take a four-run lead in the second game. They would allow three runs in the top of the seventh, but got the last out with a runner on third to get their third straight win. The Rebels now sit at 31-16 overall and 14-7 in the Mountain West. Saturday will be the last regular season game for both teams and the winner will win the regular season Mountain West title and get the first seed in the conference tournament.

The Aztecs came into the weekend needing just one win to secure that top spot, but have struggled getting their bats going and will need to avoid a sweep to get the title.
It is the second straight series loss for the Aztecs who have struggled over the last two weekends. Last week they dropped two of three to Nevada as they have had a tough time closing out a regular season title.
