UNLV looks to knock off San Diego State for a second straight game on Friday when the two teams hit the field. The Rebels took the opener on Thursday night 5-1 for their second straight win. They gave up a run in the top of the first but would hold the Aztecs scoreless the rest of the way to get the win. They finally took the lead in the fourth when they scored three times. The win pushed their record to 30-16 overall and 13-7 in the Mountain West. They are coming off a series win over San Jose State last weekend and are looking to clinch a second straight series with a win on Friday night.
