In that match, Seattle lost 42-40 against the only other undefeated team in Major League Rugby. They look to rebound and get back into the win column against the Chicago Hounds (1-2-1) today. Through the first handful of weeks of the season, Seattle has 14 points, third in the Western Conference, one point out of second place and nine full points behind Houston. For Chicago, it is also in third place with seven points, tied with Old Glory DC in the Eastern Conference.

This season Seattle has played as well as any team in Major League Rugby, scoring the fourth most points overall as a team in just four matches. They also have one of the top scoring defenses in the league and look to continue that trend with a bounce-back win today.
In the loss to Houston, the match of the year so far in Major League Rugby, Seattle was able to cut the deficit from 42-35 to 42-40 with a score at the 77-minute mark. They were not able to fully capitalize and tie the game, falling just short in the most competitive match of the season so far.
For Chicago, it is coming off a loss and the team has not won a match since the season-opener. Since that season-opening win they have losses to the Utah Warriors (29-15), a tie to Old Glory DC (22-22) and another loss to the New England Free Jacks (22-17) heading into today’s match.
