Heading into the semifinals Collins has lost one set in her last 10 matches. She has won a remarkable 10 matches in a row, 20 of the last 21 sets and is 122-58 in games with zero tiebreakers between the Miami Open and this week’s Charleston Open.

She takes on Sakkari, who has also won all of her matches in straight sets. She went through Viktoriya Tomova, Astra Sharma and Veronika Kudermetova going 36-17 in games on her way to the semifinals.

For Pegula, she has had to grind her way to the semifinals with two of her three matches needing not only a third set, but a tiebreaker in the third set to pick up the win. Kasatkina also needed a third set in two matches and is coming off a quarterfinal match where she lost the first set in a tiebreaker before making the comeback.
