South Carolina looks to close out an SEC sweep with a victory at Ole Miss on Sunday at the Ole Miss Softball Complex
South Carolina (25-10) got its first two Southeastern Conference wins of the season already this weekend and can complete a sweep of Ole Miss (20-13) on Sunday at the Ole Miss Softball Complex in Oxford. The Gamecocks improved to 2-6 in the SEC and have won three straight games while the Rebels are now 3-8 in conference play and on a five-game losing slide. Both programs were NCAA tournament teams in 2023, with Ole Miss on a streak of seven straight appearances. South Carolina’s bid last season was its first since 2019. The SEC has 13 softball programs and does not use its traditional East-West divisional format in the sport.
