How to Watch Stallions at Renegades: Stream United Football League Live, TV Channel

The newly minted United Football League kicks off its 2024 campaign with a battle of champions as the Birmingham Stallions visit the Arlington Renegades

The United Football League, forged from the merger of the USFL and XFL late last year, kicks off its inaugural season on Saturday with the final champions from the two leagues squaring off at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Birmingham Stallions won both USFL titles while the Arlington Renegades came from a 4-6 regular season to claim the final XFL title last year. Coach Skip Holtz led Birmingham to a 17-3 regular-season record in the USFL’s two seasons, with the Stallions beating the now-defunct Pittsburgh Maulers on July 1 to claim the league’s last crown. Bob Stoops coaches the Renegades, who knocked off the favored D.C. Defenders on May 13 to claim the final XFL title.

Birmingham comes into the season with a new quarterback, former Ole Miss standout Matt Corral. He spent last season on the practice squad of the New England Patriots. Drafted by the Carolina Panthers in 2022, he missed his rookie season with a Lisfranc foot injury before being cut.

Arlington’s Luis Perez emerged from a group of quarterbacks that led the team to the lowest scoring output in the XFL last season. Perez completed 67.6% of his throws for 730 yards but just one touchdown and two interceptions. But he was the XFL championship game MVP after putting up 288 yards and three TDs.

CJ Marable returns at running back for the Stallions and the team added USFL interception leader Mark Gilbert from the Pittsburgh Maulers. The Renegades retooled their offensive line while adding All-XFL receiver Deontay Burnett.
