How to Watch AS Roma vs. AC Milan: Stream Europa League Live, TV Channel

The Italian rivalry between Roma and AC Milan is revived once more as a place in the Europa League semi-finals is at stake.

Daniele de Rossi is on the verge of celebrating the greatest scalp of his coaching career to date if his AS Roma team can finish the job and knock AC Milan out of the Europa League quarter-finals. The Giallorossi legend’s triumphed in his first meeting with Milan as Roma boss last week and is just 90 minutes from taking his team into the last four of this season’s tournament provided his team get a draw or better from Thursday’s second leg. Nothing but the victory will do for the Rossoneri, meanwhile, who will be all but certain to end this season without silverware in tow unless they turn the ship around in Rome.

It just so happens Stefano Pioli’s men already have winning experience at the Stadio Olimpico this term, having come away from Rome with three points in Serie A earlier this term despite finishing with 10 men.

In fact, Milan is undefeated in its last four visits to the ground, but restoring that fortress-like form at home is part of what’s made De Rossi’s time at the helm of his old club such a success to date.

And Roma has since returned the favor somewhat after already beating the Rossoneri on their own turf, where Gianluca Mancini’s header was all that separated the two teams last Thursday:

It’s possible both line-ups could look identical to the ones that started at the San Siro last week, with Pierre Kalulu and Tommaso Pobega still sidelined for Milan while Sardar Azmoun is absent for Roma.

Defender Evan Ndicka has also been added to Roma’s list of absentees after he was stretchered off with chest pains during Sunday’s clash with Udinese, which led to the match being suspended.

Ndicka has since been discharged from hospital but is highly unlikely to play any part against Milan.

Roma and Udinese were drawing 1-1 at the time their match was called off with around 15 minutes remaining, though the former’s focus will now turn entirely to Thursday’s matter at hand.

Regional restrictions may apply.
