The Chicago White Sox will take the field again at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday afternoon for the second game of a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals came away with a win in the first game of the series yesterday in a shutout 3-0. Sonny Gray was credited with the win going 7.0 scoreless innings allowing just three hits and six strikeouts with one walk. Nolan Arenado hit an RBI double in the bottom of the first to open scoring early scoring Paul Goldschmidt and Willson Contreras. Arenado was credited with all three runs on the night after hitting another RBI double that scored Contreras in the fifth inning of the game to go up 3-0. Chicago will look to bounce back here tonight and even the series at one each.

Erick Fedde will get the start for Chicago on the mound in this second game of the series. The right-hander is 2-0 this season with 39 strikeouts and a 2.60 ERA over 34.2 innings. He allowed two runs on seven hits over 8.1 innings in his last start against the Tampa Bay Rays which ended in a 4-2 win. He also had nine strikeouts.
St. Louis will start the top of the first inning with Lance Lynn on the mound. The right-hander is 1-0 this season with a 2.64 ERA and 30 strikeouts over 30.2 innings. He pitched 5.0 innings in his last start with one earned run on five hits with three strikeouts in a game that ended in a 4-2 loss to the New York Mets.
