Erick Fedde and the Chicago White Sox will take the mound against Brady Singer and the Kansas City Royals tonight.
The Chicago White Sox will stay on the road tonight to take on the Kansas City Royals in the second game of a four-game series at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The Royals took the first game of the series by a massive amount winning 10-1. Seth Lugo, the former San Diego Padre, was credited with his first win of the season after going 6.2 innings giving up one earned run on eight hits and striking out three batters. MJ Melendez and Nelson Velazquez both homered and had two RBIs in the win batting .500 or better with two runs each. Kyle Isbel also had two RBIs in the outing as well. Andrew Vaughn scored Chicago’s lone run. The White Sox are also going to need to get Luis Robert and Paul DeJong going as well. Robert has two home runs and four RBIs this season while DeJong has two homers and two RBIs for the 1-5 team.

Erick Fedde will get his second start for Chicago this season after coming over from the Washington Nationals after six seasons with them. Fedde pitched his Chicago debut and went 4.2 innings giving up two earned runs on five hits and two homers with seven strikeouts and one batter walked on 96 total pitches.
Kansas City will put ace Brady Singer back on the mound tonight for his second start of the season. Singer is 1-0 this season after going 7.0 scoreless inning giving up three hits and striking out 10 hitters on 98 pitches. He will look to bring that momentum into this start.
