This is the 11th edition of the Indianapolis Grand Prix on the Indy NXT Series. Alex Palou won the last two races. Will Power and Simon Pagenaud traded the first six races on this track with each winning three a piece.

In last year’s race Palou finished ahead of the rest of the field that included Power, Christian Lundgaard, Scott Dixon and Marcus Armstrong rounding out the top five. This season Palou, Power, Lundgaard and Armstrong have not raced in the Indy NXT Series.

Hauger has not only won the first two races of the season, but started on the pole, led the most laps and raced the fastest lap in both as well. He has been as dominant as any driver to start the season in the Indy NXT Series.
