The top two wrestling programs in the country go head-to-head on Friday night as Penn State hosts Iowa in Happy Valley.

The No. 2 Iowa Hawkeyes will travel to Pennsylvania for a Big Ten dual meet against the No. 1 Penn State Nittany Lions on Friday night at the Bryce Jordan Center. Both teams are undefeated so far this season, but only one will remain that way at the conclusion of Friday night’s highly anticipated event. The Hawkeyes are currently 9-0 overall this season with a conference record of 3-0 thus far which gives them a share of the top spot in the Big Ten standings along with Penn State. The team’s last time on the mat took place on Saturday at home against No. 4 Ohio State and resulted in a 24-13 win. The Hawkeyes won seven of their 10 bouts and earned bonus points at 165 and 197 pounds to earn the win in front of home crowd of 13,000.
