The defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders host the Lucknow Super Giants with both teams looking for a 2nd straight win

The Kolkata Knight Riders (2-2-0, 4 points) are back at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, India, on Sunday as the defending Indian Premier League champions host the Lucknow Super Giants (2-2-0, 4 points). Both teams have alternated losses and wins through their first four matches as each looks to put consecutive victories together for the first time in 2025. Lucknow captain Rishabh Pant was fined $14,000 on Saturday after the Super Giants maintained a slow over-rate in their win over the Mumbai Indians on Friday. It is Pant’s second demerit point this season.
