The Capitals come off a solid six-wicket chase down of Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Thursday, 169/4-163/7, finishing off the match in the 18th over. KL Rahul was the star of the show with 93 runs not out on 53 balls, including six 6s, while Tristan Stubbs went 38 not out on 23 as the duo closed things out. Kuldeep Yadav bowled an impressive 2-17 and Vipraj Nigam was nearly as solid with a 2-18.

Mumbai last played on Monday, falling by 12 runs to the visiting Royal Challengers, 221/5-209/9. After opting to field, the Indian bowlers couldn’t contain the bats. Tilak Varma did what he could in the chase with 56 on 29 while captain Hardik Pandya added 42 on just 15. Trent Boult and Pandya each took two wickets, but neither bowler was stingy with the runs, allowing 57 and 45, respectively.

Rahul’s 185 runs leads Delhi with Stubbs next on the list with 117. Mitchell Starc’s nine wickets tops the bowlers while Yadav comes in with a 5.56 economy rate. Surya Kumar Yadav paces the Indians with 199 runs, followed by Varma’s 151. Pandya has taken 10 wickets, tied for third-most in the IPL and Will Jacks has an 8.40 economy rate but has worked just five overs.
