Rajasthan dropped a nine-wicket decision at home on Sunday, falling to Royal Challengers Bengaluru 175/1-173/4 as the Royals’ total dell in just 17.3 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the batting for the Royals with 75 runs on 47 balls while Dhruv Jurel went 35 not out on 23. But the bowlers claimed only a single wicket after 92 runs had already scored.

The Capitals also fell on Sunday, losing by 12 runs to the visiting Mumbai Indians 205/5-193, with the match ending on three run-outs in three balls. Karun Nair did what he could in the chase with 89 on 40, with Abishek Porel’s 33 on 25 the next highest total. Kuldeep Yadav bowled 2-23 in four overs while Vipraj Nigam also claimed a pair of wickets in the loss.

KL Rahul leads the Delhi batters with 200 runs and Tristan Stubbs is next with 118. Yadav is tied for fourth in the IPL with 10 wickets and leads the club with a 5.60 economy rate. Sanju Samson leads Rajasthan with 193 runs, just ahead of Jaiswal’s 182. Makeesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga share the team lead with six wickets but Kumar Kartikeya Singh’s 9.33 economy rate is the best among a leaky group of bowlers.
