Just one point separates Juventus and Bologna ahead of Sunday’s Serie A blockbuster. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

Fifth-placed Bologna hosts fifth-place Juventus on Sunday looking to leapfrog the most dominant outfit in Serie A history, with a single point separating the two clubs in the standings heading into Week 35. These two teams have drawn the last four straight meetings against one another in what’s become a tantalizingly tight clash in recent years, including a 2-2 stalemate in the reverse fixture five months ago. The Bianconeri have since had a change of manager as former Juve center-back Igor Tudor gets his first taste of this fixture as a manager, with a chance to etch his name further in the club’s history books.

That’s because three points at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Sunday has the potential to dramatically boost Juve’s chances of locking down a Champions League qualification spot.

As things stand, there are only three points between fourth and eighth in Serie A, which could mean the difference between playing in Europe’s top competition next term or not having any kind of continental soccer to speak of.

Bologna has a second opportunity to make it into the Europa League as it prepares to face AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final, though that won’t quite match up to making it into the first-tier tournament.

Tudor made it three home wins in a row since taking over Juve last time out, beating Monza 2-0 despite Kenan Yildiz seeing red on the halfway mark:

However, the Bianconeri are still waiting on their first away win under the Croat’s command, having drawn away to Roma before suffering a shock 1-0 defeat at Parma a little more than one week ago.

Bologna, meanwhile, has been nigh impervious at home this season and lost just one of its 17 league outings at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, level with Juve as the lowest home loss tally in Serie A.

Only Napoli (11) and Torino (13) have conceded fewer Serie A goals than the Rossoblu at home this term, which could spell trouble for a Juve team that has had its issues breaking teams down on the road.

Regional restrictions may apply.
