Neither team has ever won a championship, but Canada is looking to make their third straight final appearance.
England is looking to get back into the finals for the first time since 1993. That was the second straight trip to the finals and the English lost both of those matches to the United States.
Canada won their pool play match against England 13-8 and will be looking to do it again on Thursday.
It was one of just two losses for England in the tournament but they have bounced back with two straight wins to get to the semifinals.
