The hosts head into the meeting as the fourth place team in the Apertura 2024 standings with 16 points in eight matches so far this season. Los Rayados have been able to secure a total of five wins, one draw and two losses. In its most recent outing, Monterrey took a 2-0 finish over Santos Laguna on Saturday at Corona Stadium. Brandon Vázquez and Germán Berterame both found the back of net to secure all three points for los Rayados.

The victory over Santos Laguna snapped a two-match winless run in league play for Monterrey, which began with a 2-2 draw against Club Tijuana on Aug. 23. Vázquez and Berterame were the goal scorers in that one as well.
Then, los Rayados fell in a 2-1 finish against Toluca on Aug. 31 at BBVA Stadium. Vázquez scored the club’s lone goal via penalty kick in the second half of the defeat at home.
Meanwhile, FC Juárez is currently sitting in 17th place in the Liga MX table, with four points in seven matches this season. In the club’s most recent outing, los Bravos took a 1-0 victory over Mazatlán FC on Friday at Olímpico Benito Juárez Stadium.
Haret Ortega scored the game-winner in the 53rd minute of the match. Furthermore, starting central defender José García received a red card, leaving him unavailable to face Monterrey on Wednesday.
