The Little League World Series continues on Saturday with four games from Williamsport.
It’s time to see the best youth baseball players from around the world when 20 teams descend upon Williamsport with the hopes of winning the Little League World Series. The championship game will take place on Aug. 25, but before that pool play continues on in the United States and International brackets on Saturday with four games scheduled. Saturday’s slate of games will see two International bracket games and two American bracket games. In game one, which begins at 1:00 p.m. ET, the team from Surrey in Canada takes on the team from Guayama in Puerto Rico. Then at 3:00 p.m., the Sioux Falls, SD takes on Staten Island, NY.
The third game is an international match between Brno, Czech Republic and Santa Cruz, Aruba. That game airs at 5:00 p.m. and is on ESPN, just as the first two were.
The only game on ESPN2 is at 7:00 p.m. ET on the American side when Newtown, PA takes on Salem, NH.
A year ago, California bested Curaçao for the championship, the fifth American squad to win the event in a row.
